Deploy TanStack Start with Risved

Requires Risved 0.22.0 or newer.

Risved recognizes @tanstack/react-start, @tanstack/solid-start, and the legacy @tanstack/start package. Current projects use Vite; legacy projects retain their existing build configuration.

Configure the production server

For a current React Start application, install Nitro with bun add -d nitro and add its Vite plugin:

Keep your Solid plugin when deploying Solid Start. Use the same Nitro Node server output.

Build and start

Set the package.json build script to vite build. Risved copies .output and starts node .output/server/index.mjs. Keep Node.js selected as the server runtime.

This template expects Nitro Node server output. Other adapters need a build configuration that produces the same server output layout. See the TanStack hosting guide.
